We understand how frustrating it is when a payment won't go through!
Please note that for your security, we do not have the power to decline a card. Payments are approved or declined directly by your credit card issuer or bank.
If your payment was declined, it is usually due to one of the following common reasons:
1. Cross-Border Security Block (Most Common)
Because our payment gateway processes transactions globally, your bank might flag the transaction as a "cross-border" or "unusual" purchase and block it for your protection.
- How to fix it: Simply call the customer service number on the back of your credit card, tell them you are trying to make an online purchase, and ask them to authorize the transaction. Once authorized, you can try checking out again.
2. Billing Address Mismatch
The billing address (specifically the Zip/Postal code) you entered at checkout must exactly match the address associated with your credit card statement. If you recently moved, your bank might still have your old address on file.
3. Incorrect Card Details
A simple typo in the 16-digit card number, the expiration date, or the 3-digit CVV security code on the back of the card will cause the payment to fail.
4. Insufficient Funds or Credit Limit
Your card may have reached its credit limit, or there may be insufficient funds in your linked bank account.
💡 The Quickest Solution:
If your credit card keeps getting declined and you don't want to call your bank, we highly recommend selecting PayPal at checkout.
- You do not need a PayPal account! You can use the "PayPal Guest Checkout" feature to securely process the exact same credit or debit card. PayPal's global system has a much higher acceptance rate for international transactions.
